METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS CHAPTER - The Go 2 Network for St. Louis Real Estate Professionals

Attend a Business Resource Meeting to see why the Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS® is The Go 2 Network for Real Estate Professionals in St. Louis… Get It Here, Get It Now!

We are THE Resource for your business and personal growth with our active, growing and productive REALTOR®/Broker membership, impacting others with life changing opportunities.

All of our activities are directed toward meeting this goal.  Some of the resources we have available to do this are:

  1. Business Resource Meetings – We are the only REALTOR® group in St. Louis to meet monthly.  At these meetings, we bring you top quality programs on topics designed to make you better at what you do.  There is a listing table at each meeting to share the information on your business with other producing agents.  We also offer our affiliate members a table to exhibit their marketing materials.  Each meeting begins with a structured networking opportunity and ends with an upbeat send-off.
  2. Relationships and Networking – We are a part of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®, the Missouri Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.  The Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® is supported by the State Women’s Council as well as the National Women’s Council.  The resources of all of these groups are available to our members.  Networking on all of these levels leads to increased business through referrals.  In return, the Women’s Council supports the events of these groups.
  3. Communications – Our communications are improving daily. The membership list, as well as our calendar of events, is now posted on the website.  Any form a member might need is also posted as well as applications for our Leadership Series and Awards programs.  Information is updated regularly to be a resource for current information.  The national website also offers marketing tools and action kits to help members get the most out of their Council experience.  Regular meeting notices are emailed to members prior to each meeting.  They are also posted on the opening page of MARIS.  We offer a quarterly newsletter to keep members informed of activities and reports.  All board meetings are open and we encourage members to attend.  We hold bi-monthly new member orientation meetings to introduce our new members into the organization.  Our most successful members have been those who became engaged in the organization right away.  We are also fortunate to be able to share our information through The REALTOR® Report, the monthly publication of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®.  Our national members automatically receive the e-version of the Connections magazine, published by the National Women’s Council.
  4. Education and Training – Our programs are created to offer the maximum growth for our members and their businesses.  It is our goal to manage the chapter’s money in such a way that we can fund travel for our officers to attend state and national meetings.  We also provide scholarship money for members to attend special meetings and classes.  In 2009, our Chapter co-sponsored a PMN (Performance Management Networking) class and launched for The Leadership Series, a pilot program designed to build leadership candidates for the Women’s Council and Association of REALTORS® at all levels, as well as provide future leaders for community organizations.
  5. Fiscal Responsibility – As steward’s of our Chapter’s funds, we will produce a balanced budget and operate by that document.  Our records will be kept to the highest standards and allow us to apply for a tax exempt status as soon as possible.
  6. Building on the Past – We have incredible retention of past leadership, and they are still actively participating.  These members are a huge resource to the current board and membership as they bring a wealth of information and history.
  7. Diversity – Our members come from many backgrounds and enrich us all.  We have a liaison board member who attends the Diversity Committee meetings at SLAR to keep our members informed of the activities of that committee.  We will have an annual report from that committee on programs and progress made during the year.
  8. Recognition – We offer three major awards annually: Business Woman of the Year, Excell Award and Member of the Year.  The winners of these awards are then submitted to the State for consideration.
  9. Influence – Through these efforts, we intend to create powerful change and opportunities for our members in their business and personal lives.

  • The Power of Relationships — Success in business today is achieved through positive, productive relationships.  The Women's Council of REALTORS® provides an environment of collaboration in which members can form, build and maximize relationships for business and personal success.  When members share their time, talent and experience, the entire industry is advanced.
